Billing
Billing and subscriptions
If you have a charge or a receipt from TidyLabs and were not expecting the name, this is the right page. TidyLabs is the business behind seemy.beer, so it is TidyLabs that appears on your statement even though the product you bought is branded seemy.beer.
Manage or cancel your subscription
Subscriptions are billed through Stripe, and their billing portal is where you cancel, change your card, switch plans or download an invoice. It will ask for the email address you subscribed with and then email you a link to sign in, so there is no password to remember.
Go to the Stripe billing portalCancelling is self-service. You do not need to email anyone first, and nobody has to approve it.
Who is Stripe?
Stripe is the payment company TidyLabs uses to take payments. They process the payment, hold the card details and send the receipts, which means we never see or store your card number. They are one of the largest payment processors in the world and are behind the checkout of a great many businesses you already buy from.
Because Stripe holds the billing record, they are also the ones who can safely act on it, which is why cancelling happens on their site rather than ours.
What the charge will look like
Your statement shows TidyLabs. Your receipt says TidyLabs too, next to a line naming the product, such as seemy.beer - standalone or seemy.beer - manual. The billing portal is branded TidyLabs rather than seemy.beer for the same reason. It is meant to look different from the product, and it is still us.
Still not sure?
If you do not recognise a charge, or the portal cannot find the email address you expected it to, email [email protected] and I will look it up. Include the last four digits of the card and the date, and please do not send the full card number.
